Here are a few pix. The first two are of the Frederick Reynolds as I received it. The the 3rd is the F.R. after regrinding, and the 4th is the F.R. and a G. Crookes 1/4 I reground today, as well. They're not quite finished, but I'll wait until I get some handles made before doing any more polishing. It looks like they're a lot more concave than they were originally, but really they aren't (much). The just don't have any hone wear now, and I thinned out the edge a bit. They'll still shave like a 1/4 hollow wedge(because they are), but they'll be easier to hone for a while, and won't have that really wide edge bevel. I'm pretty limited as to what I can regrind right now (6/8 and 7/8 wedges, because the concave matches the size wheel I have atm) , but I'm saving up for a new grinder, so perhaps in the future, I can regrind most anything, as well as make my own. (Thanks Bill for throwing down the gauntlet )As it is right now, they have a 600 grit finish on. And this is the post I broke 1000 on.

The Crookes is pretty much spoken for (I think), but the Reynolds will be available soon (I hope) Waiting on some wood and some more sandpaper....

You guys are a bunch of addicts!

I got to stop reading all these restoration posts.

For four months I have been e-bay clean. I am back here for one week and already won one auction and got snipes set-up on 11 others. I am quietly hoping that I will get outbid on all of them.

I begining to see the down side of being back.
