    Question Light Restoration Work

A couple of years back I purchased two straight razors from members of this community. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it through a shave without slicing a good portion of my chin off, so I switched to DE razors. I recently found my old straight razors after we bought a house and moved out of our apartment (see photos) and they have developed a bit of rust and pitting. I would like to restore them (get them good and clean - rust free) so that I can display them properly - it would add some manliness to my bathroom, and who knows, I may give straights another try soon.

The razors are still very sharp, @pinklather did a tremendous job honing them for me about 16 months ago and they have kept their edge, and at this time I would just like to have them cosmetically appealing instead of razor sharp and shave ready.

    So, my questions are:
    1. How can I remove the small amount of rust on these blades and return them to a mirror shine, and...
    2. Are the any users out there who do restoration work? If anyone would like practice, I would be more than happy to loan mine out for a spell.
    Thanks,

P.S. - A buddy of mine recently inherited his grandpa's old straight razor. It is a very dark steel blade with plenty of patina. There are no markings on the blade other than the stamp SILVERSTEEL. My friend's grandfather was born in 1929, and the razor belonged to his father before him. I will post pics of it soon - and it will need lots of restoration work.
