I did something quite noobish out of anxiety of diseases. I tried sterilizing a vintage with boiling water and bleach. Almost immediately small stains appeared that seemed to be corroding at extremely high speed. After about 10 seconds in the substance I noticed it and got it out, the rust that appeared on the stains could be whiped off easily but the stains remain as somewhat discolored. Any way this can be fixed or did I just screw the looks of a beautiful vintage?
