Electolysis
Hi AllI was wondering, when cleaning rust and dirt off an old blade how damaging would electrolysis be compared to sanding especially when it comes to stamps?

Thanked: 170I'll be interested if anyone has had success with this method. I burned up a junk razor trying it - used a small battery charger for power - clearly was too much power. Works well on old hand tools.

Thanked: 170I used too much power - a portion of the edge basically diapeared. Using less power might work, but I figured there were safer ways to clean a blade.

Electrolysis: passage of an electrical current through an electrolyte..........this sometimes works
Electolysis: passage of candidates cleanly through a political process.......this never seems to work

Difference received and noted. I really do wish that I had checked that. Hahaha
