My New Wedge From Joe Chandler
I recently traded Joe a near mint condition 8/8 Friodur and he in return has restored a beautiful 8/8 Joseph Smith & Sons Wedge. I used the razor tonight and had an amazing shave with it. I have three wedges in my usual rotation, two of them were restored, one was restored by Robert Williams and honed by Lynn and this one restored and honed by Joe. One thing I was truely amazed by is Joe's honing abilities. I have had all of my razors honed by either Lynn or Bill, and now Joe, and I can honestly say that this razor is just as good a shaver as my best honed and/or restored razors.
Here are some pics (uunfortunately I dont have any before pics)

In that case I'll let my imagination run wild. I'm seeing a custom-worked back, ebony scales with ivory inlays, sterling liners/end-caps and a need to change my underwear from just thinking about such a setup.

John you're a cruel cruel man. Just thinking of THAT razor is too much for my heart. I think I'll just "acquire" it, visit Mastro Livi and exchange it for 3 of his best to add some lustre to my rotation
