Hi everyone, this is my first post and my first straight razor restoration. The razor is a J. Wiss & Sons Co. "COSMO". I hand sanded stating with 150 grit up to 600 grit. Then I used a dremel buffing felt with black and rouge emery compounds. It turns out the scales had a crack so I took them out. Also there was a really big crack so I tried to grind that towards the neck. I am waiting for your opinions and recommendations.
