Default Dye stain on celluloid scales help. (7 day set razor porn)

Hey yall, I got my first 7 day set today. The gentleman on ebay settled on a REALLY good price for them and i'm paying with the bill me later option so I'm in good shape! Any who, The must have been sitting in their case unused for YEARS.. They are BRAND NEWWWWW!!!! BUT.. because they have been sitting in the case the green dye is almost impregnated into the scales. Its not really impeding anything but the green just looks ugly. I tried just buffing it off with some Flitz and a buffing rag but it just took a little bit off. Any quicker suggestions? The tang stamps say "150 Kiebitz Garantie" on the gold flaked side and GEBR. EMDE Solingen-Weyer Germany" If any of yall know any info or possible year these are from that would also be appreciated.. thanks!

Pictured are "Friday" and "Sunday" razors. I have already taken a bit off of "Sunday" but I was there just rubbing and rubbing for who knows how long and I still didn't get it all off. The "Friday" I haven't touched yet and is what pretty much all the other razors look like. BTW I dont really want to sand it off because the scales have their original beautiful gloss.

I don't know how you could get that dye out if it has penetrated deep into the plastic. Personally I would polish them as you have done and leave it at that.

Sidenote - Be careful with taping over the gold wash, if you leave it for too long it may bring up some of the delicate gold with it when removed
