    Yes good hard steel ... but i think the Morris version is a better red imp. the 3 pin scales, limit warping and the steel just feels better on the stones. the 3 morris' i have used also sing better while shaving. mind you the case is not bad but the morris is just a little bit batter. i have no experience with the Ludo.
    the wiki has some info on straightening the scales but if you are planning on using heat to straighten the Case scales ... be extra cautious they discolor quite easily and by the time you sand that out you are losing some of the logo.

    I read somewhere that someone put popsicle sticks in the scales and heated them up with a hair dryer. Then once the scales got easier to manipulate they would close the razor with the popsicle sticks in the scales and the blade in between the popsicle sticks to help center the blade and straighten everything when they cooled. Haven't tried it yet though, but going to since I got a set like that.
