Thread: Red imp scales

Does anyone know here I can obtai red imp scales my my razor I think I wanna keep it vintage so any help would be great

You'd probably find them cheapest from a red imp razor with a damaged/irreparable blade on the bay or hunting in the wild.

Just for your own information, red imp scales are notorious for warping badly (I had to straighten mine and it wasn't pretty). So from a functionality standpoint there would be better materials to get replacement scales IMHO.

I can second this. I just got finished straightening out the scales on a Case red imp. There was also some serious corrosion on the scales near the red imp logo. Sadly, I had to sand the whole thing down to bring the color back out, likely due to UV damage (razor was sitting in the window of an antiques store).

They look pretty nice now, but If I knew then what I know now, I would have just made new scales. Would have been quicker.

Shorten the wedge or rescale. 2 choices
