    Default Brass foil for pivot washer

    I see brass foil is available in 36 gage which is .005" thick. Is this too thin for a pivot washer?

    Just double checked my thoughts, with a set of calipers and the Vintage washers are more in the .010 thickness range and a bit stiffer than what the .005 offers

    I looked at my sheets of Brass and tin and referenced them against the vintage stuff,, I have the .005 .008 and .010 and the .010 does feel closer too, besides what the calipers tell me
