Thanked: 4Second Restoration
I just completed my second restoration, this one is my DD Satinedge so tell me what you think. It feels good to complete restoration. Sorry for the quality I used my phone. Thanks for looking.

Thanked: 4No sorry, I just got started and forgot to take the before pics, however the razor was not real bad and I had to do my first re-pinning.

That looks great. Can you tell our fellow members what exactly you did? Buffer? Hand Sanding? Greaseless? Scales?

Thanked: 4I did forget to mention the process. What I started with was un-pinning the razor. Then hand sanded with wet sandpaper going through 180-220-320-400-600-800-1000-1200-1500-2000. I then used MAAS with my dremel and felt pad. Next I used jewelers rouge with my dremel and felt pad. Then one final polish with MAAS. On the scales I had to be real careful so I did a MAAS test on the back of the scale. I seen the MAAS worked well so I coated the scales and used my dremel with a felt pad on low speed. The MAAS also worked very well for the gold on the scales. I re-pinned with a kit I bought from the bay and my 4 oz polished ball peen hammer. After re-pinning I used MAAS on the mushroom of the pin and smoothed with my dremel. I had to be very careful because the first pin on my other razor I restored I burnt the scale. So I was very light on the pin. Thats about it. Side note all ideas from many hours of reading on SRP.
