    Default New workshop (pic heavy)

I just got back from the Mid-MO meeting at Lynn's place, what a blast! Just thought I would share some photos of the new workshop to prove that even though I haven't been working on razors for a year, I've not been unproductive! The basement started out as a big empty, dank, spider infested room. Here's an idea of what it looked like when we moved in:

A little bit of moisture can be seen! Whoever poured this floor deserves a punch in the nose; in places it's only 2" thick! I did a heap of amateur concrete work, and patching.

Jealous! I will be moving in a few months and one of my requirments is to have a workshop. My usual digs are usually a modern apartment in the city center but i think to get my workshop i will have to give that up and go with rural. Awesome job i hope to have something like this!

Truly awesome. A job you should be proud of. i just can't see the pole for getting down to the cave. i know upstairs it would be hidden behind a bookcase, but downstairs.........

    That is Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo/Cooooooooooooooooooool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It must be in the genetics of men[and some women] that a well decked out workshop will cause one to become limp with envy!! And I'm one of them!! Great Job, really!

Nice shop!.. It's always important to have a place where you can go and feel at peace.

If by "at peace" you mean, as Tim the Tool Man Taylor would say, "MORE POWER!!!", then yea, it's great! Just bought a remote system for my dust collector too!
