    Default Question about horn delamination

I am making a set of scales for a razor out of horn, my first time doing so, and I have come across a bit of an issue. One of the scales has a spot, going across the scale, that has de-laminated and was wondering if there was anything I can really do about it other than sand it out? I have included a picture to help.

Thanks for any input or solutions.

To get it 100% perfect you will need to sand it down, I have however used the tip of a needle to get glue (I use clear epoxy) in under the flake, it doesn't get totally invisible, but 90-95% after sanding and polishing.

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately both sides of the little "channel" are attached so I would not be able to get anything in there. Maybe I'll just have to sand it out and make the other scale match.
