My golden edge is loose within the scales and i think needs to be realigned. Any way to do this without repining ?

the looseness is due to the pin being loose, you can fix that by tightening the pin with a spoon, just gently tap on each side till the pin is tight.
Are the scales straight? If not then tightening the pin could bring other issues.

You might want to send it out for repairs, that is not the razor you want to practice on '!!!!!! You crack the scales you lost half your investment and if you put a heat gun to it and go too far...you loose again. Trust me on this one
