    Default 1920 Koken Barbers chair

Hi everyone so i'v been using/collecting/restoring straight razors for about 6 months now and and it's never come to mind that i have a 1920 Koken barbers chair that i need to restore. when i was 13 my brother broke a piece of off the calf rest and i spent the better part of the last 8 years looking for a replacement. i finally got one off ebay two weeks ago and i couldn't be happier. only thing that sucks is that the chair is currently back in British Columbia at my fathers house i guess i'll have to go make the 14 hour drive next summer to pick it up. i waited 8 years to start this restoration i think i can wait a few more months i'll see if i can get on pictures up soon of it's current condition

Nice, I've been looking at chairs for sale on Kijiji. They are more than I'm willing to pay but hope to come across a "you move it you keep it" someday. Make sure to keep us posted and put some pictures up! Good luck!

    Cheers,

Let me know when this happens, I will help you move it if I can keep it.

My wife bought me one for my birthday. Its in decent shape. I would like to one day re-plate and re-upholster, one day
Send me a PM if you need help with any of the particulars. The inner workings are impossible to find online, But its pretty fresh in my memory so I have a good handle on it, for now.
