Straight razor resto question
Im not sure if this is the correct part of this forum but...
I am new to the wonderful world of straight shaving and recently began shaving with a Henckels straight razor given to me from my father. After a couple shaves and some research I have come to the realization that it really needs to be sent off and professionally resharpened and honed and brought back to being truly "shave ready." Does anyone know of any reputable companies that provide this service? Thanks

Thanked: 10Glenn at Gemstar customs. He goes by gssixgun on here. There are others as well, but that's the first name that comes to mind.
Nice razor, btw!

There are many great honers found here in our classifieds under Member Services. Use one of them.

Thanks for your help! I will look into the services directly. I had found a business online but I was leary being that this blade has sentimental value...

All the more reason to stay in the SRP family...
I've used both Glen (gssixgun) and Chris Ellison (elbonator) with great results.
Suggest that you send them a note to check on how backed up they are. If this is your only razor you may not want to be without it for long.
They will take great care of your razor and you are lucky to have one from your Father.
Good looking Straight...
