Default Advice needed on bench polishing kit.

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone on here could give me some advice on whether the folowing polishing kit would be suitable for use on straight razors. I'm based in Ireland so I'm trying to buy one close to home so I don't have to pay a crazy amount on shipping.

Jewellery Polishing Bench Polisher / Grinder 30pc Kit From Metal Polishing Supplies UK Ltd

I'm not really expecting much in terms of quality as it's the cheapest one I could find but I was just wondering if it would be ok for basic polishing ect.

Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks.

That is one of those little tiny polishers right ???

    The wheels are like 1" - 3" ???

From the description it comes with 3" and 4" wheels. I wish it said what rpm it spins at. Looks like you can use dremel size accessories too. I wouldn't see why you couldn't use it for polishing razors, but than again I don't own any buffers so I really wouldn't know for sure.

It looks to be the exact same as the smallest one I have, just branded with another name.

It gets the job done, but it is a bit on the small side and and a little weak, since I got the bigger one with more power I only use the small one for final polishing of scales.

It will work, it did for me for several months

Do you think it would be powerful enough to remove some rust? Would it be suitable for use with greaseless compounds?

Like I said, it works, though not optimal.

    Here's a couple I've done on it:

Cool man, nice work Looks fine to me, I'm only really buying this buffer as a temporary solution anyway until I can afford a better quality one. At least I'll have something to keep me busy whilst I'm saving. Thanks.

    Thanks

That's the reason I got it as well, and now it serves perfect for scale polishing
