    Default scales

I`m experimenting with different shapes ,sorry about the pic ,its not that flash, anyway Im not sure if I like the shape of these, they will probably end up in the bin.
The used to make coke style folders so I thought I would try the same shape with one set of scales.
An honest evaluation would be appreciated ,they are approx 3/32" thick
    Kind regards Peter

    Peter,
I like the shape of the top set but the bottom set isn't something I'd mate to my project razors. I guess I'm a big fan of simplicity.

I like the top set a little better. They are both a tad busy, but may work just fine with the right blade. The bottom set needs a big smilie blade, for sure.

The top set doesn't remind me at all of the "Coke Bottle" shape, but is the better balanced design of the two.

The bottom set, IMO, needs a thicker "neck," a flatter top, and a straighter overall line to them to better capture your inspiration.

I kinda like them both. I've often wondered what the most ergonomic design would be for scales and whether or not something that thins and wraps arounf the tang finger, like the bottom set might, wouldn't be more comfortable.
