    Default Seen this brand?

I acquired this Balmoral as a blade only and original box. It was a rust fest but I thought it would be a good project.

When I got rid of the surface rust I discovered (caused) the large split you can see in the blade But I am also interested in the double crucifix mark and the name of the maker-ever heard of them?

Anyne want to remove the split and have a 0.000000001/16 razor?

I presume this is what the OP is talking about. It's the first thing I noticed in the original picture.

Woof, sorry to see that, sometimes you just never know til you get down to the steel. Happens to everyone at somepoint, so yeah it would be a good one to practice buffing and sanding on though.

Thats a shame. That double crucifix is a pretty cool stamp.
