    Default Dremel drill press alternative

    Hi all,

I stumbled upon this today at Instructibles and thought if nothing else it might give some inspiration to folks who have a dremel but not a drill press. I haven't made it and so can't vouch for it, but it looks interesting...

    Cheap precision drill stand

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

I checked one of the youtube vids from a guy who did it, but the time and materials, unless you already have alot of it laying around...I went to lowes and paid the $40 for the drill press stand. If you like to tinker w/ making tools for tools it's a good project to play w/ though.
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

Interesting. Alas, I already have a drill press. Now if I only used it enough to justify what I paid for it years ago.
