Thanked: 55Centering?
When a blade is not centered in the scales what is generally the reason?
It's not going to be the blade itself (hopefully) so is it one side of the scales curving more than the other, the way the wedge is carved, the way the pivot pin is installed (angled)?

If the pin is angled because the scales are unevenly drilled it should be pretty obvious before you've pinned them. If the pin was bent in the process of driving it home that could cause the razor to close off center. The wedge thing is a whole other science believe it or not. IIRC gssixgun has quite a bit of info on making scales in the library.
