I picked this up not long ago ,good price but someone had already had a go at it

shocking plain wood scales and really butchered the shank. The blade was pitted which didn`t show up on the pics
Anyway ,re-grind new scales and a spit and polish and this is her . The scales are actually red deer antler with the outside ground off and then sanded ,then I let the polishing wax over heat so it would get into the surface ,hence the colour ,bit of an experiment but I kind of like it
