    Lightbulb Bladesmithing Classes in Seattle

    Hi there,

I am in no way affiliated with the business but since it was a little difficult for me to find it in my neck of the weeds I thought I'd share it in here.

David Lisch of Studio4 seem to be the only place in western Washington that is offering some bladesmithing classes, they'll be publishing the 2013 schedule soon...

It's not specifically about making straight razors, but I think its good for those of us who want to learn more about what goes into making a blade...

    Cheers.

I'm across the Cascades with one other pretty good fellow. Tom Ferry's on the west side along with Bobl Kramer. There's more I'm sure I can't remember right now. We're all involved in teaching from time to time.

You might want to check with Phil Baldwin in Snohomish. He is one of the best on the planet.

If he is not doing classes, he might know of someone in the area.

If you can get in a class with Mike Blue, go for it. Excellent teacher, and knows more about steel than anyone I've ever found. We really miss him here in Minnesota!
