    Default Long Arbor Extensions

I am considering buying an economical slow speed grinder (1/2 hp, 1725 RPM) from Woodcraft and putting extra long arbor extensions from Caswells on the shaft to use as a buffer. Do extra long arbor extensions work adequately, or do they give too much when applying pressure on the wheel?
