Default 6/8 The Tower Brand Razor

Got this one and decided to replace the bone scales with horn. Didn't really do much other than clean and polish. There are still some blemishes on the blade, but nothing serious. It is a 1/4 hollow John S. Holler & Co. The Tower Brand. This one was weird to hone cause on my 1k it glided really smoothly and didn't make a sound. I wasn't even sure I was honing it at first. It took a fabulous edge, but unfortunately while taking the pictures I had it resting against a chess piece and it slide down and grazed the edge and slightly rolled it near the toe as seen in the pictures. Guess now back to the stones.

Very nice! the black horn scales looks better in my opinion, very classy!

I used Mothers polish. There was alot of dirt on the razor when I got it, but it came off after a good cleaning.

Mothers is some mighty fine polish. I have gotten some razors and thought "Oh no, what have I got myself into this time?" I figured as a long shot I'd try Mothers instead of sanding, buffing, etc. To my surprise Mothers was all I needed! Yes, I had to put a little elbow grease into it but the results were a real surprise. Mothers gets the first shot at the razors now.

I had never seen Tower razors before. A few weeks ago I bought one from gssixgun. I love it!! He did a helluva job on it and when I saw ivory scales, I had to have it.
