    Default Dremmel for Christmas!

    Got a Dremmel for Christmas!

Well actually I have a promise to buy me a dremel as she didn't know which one to get. So, which attachments do I need when I go to get my tool?

Can anyone recommend a model number or a particular accessory kit?

    Cheers

    Rob

Robert, here are the features that people like us find useful:
    1) Flex shaft -- INSTRUMENTAL. You run the risk of ruining more blades if you work without one. I actually never take mine off.
    2) Pedal -- Nice to have, just ask Vlad about his speed control jig

Pick up some extra felt pads while you're at it and I find their dark red polishing paste to be a great cleaning abrasive for corroded blades.

Apparently a mini chuck is preferable to a collet.
