    Default DE Question

    Hi All!

Since I don’t find a DE specific Forum I’m posting here!

Long story made short, I was gifted with a co-workers fathers DE still in the plastic box that it was sold in!

It cleaned up like new! I also spent a lot of time on the case with some automotive lens polish on the clear lid and the matching color bottom and it looks great!

    My question is this:

While the Bomber Bay Doors open and close effortlessly, I’d like to ensure that the internal workings within the shaft are clean and oiled.

I don’t want to screw thing up by taking it apart, but if need be I will.

My question is this: should I take it apart or should I just put some oil or WD 40 down the shaft from the top and leave it alone!!!

you should be able to use a few drops of oil on the handle mechanism and work them in. I have used it on my 58 fatboy with out issue.

    Default DE Question

You might get more response if you post this under the shaving with a safety razor part of the forum. Its under the shaving technique section. That is where 99% DE info is.
