    As Neil says, they are not Ivory,amazes me the idiots that burn holes in Beautifull Ivory carvings or seal Ivory scales with CA glue,they do not last long.

    Didnt think about that it could be test holes when it was on such visible spot and on 6 of the scales, must have been a stupid previous owner that didnt just test one of them, and on a less visible place. thank you for your answers

    It is sad because just from a visual it is not ivory,perhaps you could fill,sand and polish the marks out.
    Those Heljis are amounst the greatest razors ever made,they should serve you well.
