    Let's talk Sunday. I've made some scales with inexpensive wood that came out to varying degrees of success. Takes about about two to three hours before the finishing. I find getting the wedges and finishes right to be the hardest part.
    1/4 x 6" x 4' White oak from HD. $8
    1/4 x 6 x 4 Untreated Appearance Grade S4S Red Oak Board-OAK-1/4X6X4-3PL at The Home Depot

    Also you can't use wood working tools for plexi. Check this vid out.

    Any kind of power tool will need special blades to cut plexi well.

    Here for a jig saw:

    Also be aware that the method of finishing the cut edges of plexi to a clear finish requires a torch.

    Im just gonna get some.clip boards and multi purpose dremel pit and try then.ill.sand with diff grits of sandpaper. And see what happens. Im.bringing all my pinning stuff sun and my new norton to learn everything on i have about ten razors to hone a few that just need some scales and others repinning so i can clean them
