    Default A Few Questions

    Hi,

I have some razors that will need to have the blades sanded, what's the easiest / safest way to remove the scales?

Also some of the blades have some rust and light pitting, I started with some 220 grit and have moved up to 320, how far up do I need to go grit wise to get a nice finish ( I know it can vary with the condition of the blades )

Does Home Depot sell 1000 / 2000+ grits?

I know I need to buy Bill and Lynn's CD /DVD, but I have razor fever and have been buying quite a few lately in hopes of turning them into good shavers for my rotation.

    Thanks for the help!!

Neale, for starters you need some patience. Use the search function to find threads on scale removal/attachment.
1000 grit for satin finish, 2000 and polish for mirror.
I don't think they do but well-stocked auto parts stores do.
