Thread: Made my first set of scales

Used to think African Blackwood was a poor mans ebony,Is not,Is a far harder/denser wood than even the best ebony,love it.

The grain in that is gorgeous!

Tis indeed,is amazing stuff,but somewhat Toxic,burns the skin bigtime.
Most exotics do the same.

I've never done any woodworking, so I would have never expected that. I'm surprised to hear it.

No need to be Jealous,anyone that can use a tape measure and knows what exact square,dead nuts perfect is can build anything.
Are tons of JC college courses you can take for pennys at night,just do it.

Woods can be very toxic,like poison Oak,some can kill you dead
