Thread: need help from pros !!!!!

hi all, I've just acquired this beautiful Sheffield wedge for really good price. however when I got the razor I found some nasty scratches on it and the blade was ever so slightly warped but I removed about 1mm of steel at the heel and so I can lay it down on hone pretty flat, should not be a problem to hone. however razor has some nice etching on the blade I wanted just to ask your opinion is it worth to try to sand the scratched out or shall I just polish the blade and live with it?
