I am kind of stumped with this one. Not sure what I really want to do with it. When I got it it was pretty dirty and rough looking, but once I cleaned it some and gave it a quick polishing to see what I was working with it didn't really seem that bad. The blade has a few deep scratches that 60 grit paper wouldn't even have made. You can see those pretty clearly, but the light makes them even clearer looking. There are some shallower ones that I could probably sand out, but they almost look like grind marks except they are horizontal and not vertical. They are kind of hard to see in the photos. Not sure if that is how they ground faux framebacks or what, but I kind of like the look of them. All the scratches are parallel to each other. I guess I am wondering what everyone thinks. Should I keep them or sand them out. I suppose if I had a buffer it would make it easy.
