    Default Maas metal protector?

    On the MetalBrite web page, they list a "MAAS Metal Protector", and recommend that it be applied
    after polishing:

    MAAS METAL PROTECTOR FOR THE FINISHING TOUCH.
    After restoring metals with MAAS Polishing Crème apply MAAS Metal Protector;
    the super-strong weather shield provides protection against harsh elements.

    Is this a wax, a silicon coating, or what? Would it be safe and useful for a razor?

    Anyone have any experience using it?

    Thank you for any advice and/or recommendations.

    Paul

    Huh

    I always read that the Polishing Cream itself contained a protective coating... I have zero experience with their actual protector but I am sure going to check it now

    Thanks Paul for setting me on a new quest hehehehe

    Never heard of it, but if its meant for harsh or outdoor conditions, most likely silicone, or petroleum based. Wx is more for indoor apps, unless its usually for autos. With the constant rinsing and whiping of blades, I wonder how long it would last? Could be something like Ren wax maybe?
    Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

    I just ordered some of the metal protector myself, Glen. Perhaps we can compare notes after a trial period.

    Thanks
    Paul
