Thread: Cracked Clauss - can this be resurrected?

I have a Clauss razor with a seems to be a pretty nasty crack on the edge. I don't have any proper hones so this would likely be sent out for work, or else I'll be doing some shopping. Is this blade salvageable?

In the first pic, the crack is on the right hand side. On the left side - that is a piece of fuzz (cat fur picked up from the desk, most likely). The second pic shows a closer view of the crack.

The crack is pretty far from the heel of the blade for the blade to be reground, so not worth saving IMO.

Thanks for the reply mainaman. Well, the silver lining is I have a good blade that needs a pair of scales, so these lovelies just might fit the bill.
