Thanked: 4applying dry polishing compound
I purchased these from Caswell.
White Buffing Compound Jumbo - Standard Buffing Compounds - Buffing/Polishing - Caswell Inc
Blue Buffing Compound Large - Standard Buffing Compounds - Buffing/Polishing - Caswell Inc
White Lightning Stainless Rouge C-170 - Specialty Buffing Compounds - Buffing/Polishing - Caswell Inc
They are quite dry and when I apply them to my loose cotton wheel nothing sticks to the wheel. I have tried the power switch flipping (as I do with the greaseless compounds) but no dice. It appears as though the polishing compound is everywhere but on the wheel!
Am I missing something? Did I buy the wrong stuff?

I have no problem loading any compounds on looseleaf wheels. The compound won't be that obvious on the wheel at first but are your compounds dried out maybe ?
Try priming your wheels surface with a few drops of mineral oil.The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
