Picked This Up Today. Blade Has A "Curl" In The End. How Would I Straighten Or Make It Into A Round Point?

    Thanks,
    Ed

I'm not a restorer or a metallurgist but ..... I'd be awfully suspicious of a razor that bent like that without snapping off. That said, I'd grab it with a pair of pliers, bend it back, at which point it should snap off. Diamond plate to reshape to a round point. Of course see my first sentence, I may be all wet , but that is what I would do.

I had one of my first restores do almost the exact thing thanks to a dremel (valuable lesson but still use the dremel).

Never got it back quite right, I would use a coarse stone or sand paper to remove and reshape it,

it is far from lost if the temper is not blown,

as JimmyHAD said bend it back with pliers if it survives temper was blown before you got it.

Took it to the diamond plate, rounded it off, threw it on the Norton 8000

OKAY, Just shaved with it and it is pretty nice!
Pretty smooth and seems to have held it's edge,
so I am hoping that the temper is still okay on it.

THANKS for the advice on the fix!
