I've been making knives and a few razors off my 4x36belt/6" disc combo sander and have had a no weld grinder justsitting...the electric motor that I had purchased new ended up being nogood. I am in search of a 3 phase, 2hp motor with 7/8" shaft (I alreadyhave the drive wheel) with a 56c mount. I would prefer a 1725 rpm motor,but 3450 would be ok as I will be running it thru my vfd drive.

I have the OK from the wife to buy another and would liketo ask you guys who you use that is most affordable. I would prefer aDayton or other well known motor that can be rebuilt if at all possible.
