Default Diy tool might it had been suggested before.

I recently bought some micro fasteners, but for some reason I did not want to buy the tool for it so I decided to make my own with a pair of old keys.

I'm assuming that's a scale protecter? Can't really see the pic.

It is a wrench for the 0-80 bolts and nuts. I just took an old key and cut an opening with a grinding. I do not know how much the wrenches for the micro fasteners are, but the keys ate like 99¢.

Great idea. I did something similar. I ground a slot in a couple of brackets I had lying around to use at wrenches. I put some electrical tape around it to help protect against scratching the scales. Alot cheaper than the $6 or whatever it is for the wrenches.
