Thread: Greaves rescale in progress

so i got the mail this mornin and received a Greaves that we all know the story " JUST HAD TO HAVE" so an hour later this is where i am ..
the scales were broke at the pivot pin so off they went , i used the wedge from the old scales and trimmed it up a nit , i started to replicate the scales it came with but for some reason im on this short & tight scale kick where there almost to small and to short ..lol..

well everything is good to go other then a bit of hand sanding ... i have some ren wax , tru-oil , and other goodies coming today so hopefully i can wrap these scales up with a tru-oil finish ..

I love those blades. I have two double notched Greaves now. :-)

thanks !! ive been wanting one ever since i saw one in the Greaves razor club page .. i think this is the first one i saw forsale ... couldnt pass ...lol
