    Been doing a bit on and off with some wood I picked up ,ringed gidgee
    the blade says little dorrit
    one scale is finished, the other the super glue has dried and needs to be rubbed back and buffed
    That is how it looks with only one very thick coat of ca applied as I described before
    Probably not every ones cup of tea but it seems to work ok for me

    Very nice work, Peter. The wood looks quite similar to that Hawaiian Koa that Joe Chandler just posted about. I love woods with figure like that. It kind of reminds me of curly maple, except much darker in tone.
