Default Question with setting this wedge

I am trying to get this wedge right and I'm not quite sure what to do exactly. As of now, it is a piece of wood that needs to be sanded flush with the scales, as well as sanded so it tapers. In mocking up the razor, you can see that looking down on it the razor leans to the right slightly. Would I compensate for this by sanding the left side of the wedge so the left scale (again, looking at it from top down) would curve in more? Any suggestions are appreciated.

sorta looks like a spacer, not a wedge, maybe is the way you have it clamped but the scales looked warped.Clamp it at the pivot hole, not so far up the scales

Spacer might be a better word choice. The wood isn't warped, the tang isn't 100% straight so it is making it rest off center. The question still remains for the next course of action.

Edit - I think I have figured it out, this thread can be closed. Thank you.
