Thanked: 12I made these scales to look older. It was modeled after an old teak side rail pulled off a yatch. I aged the Teak but making some very fine ground brass and embedding it into the wood then oxidised it and sealed it. I aged the peens and ozidised them as well as the brass lining on the wedge.
Maker: G. Johnson
Tip: Square
Grind: Wedge
Size: 7/8
Country: England
Scales: Ozidized Teak
Wedge: Brass lined Purple Heart

Quite the armada of razors you have there. Each razor has it's own unique characteristics, but I love the scales on post #3, as well as the scales on #5. Number 5 looks like it has so much texture even though I know it's smooth to the touch. I wouldn't have thought to do that myself, but I totally love that you did.

Personally, they're all beautiful, but my favorite is #9... those scales are AWESOME!!!!!!!! Well done!

All very nice, but I really like how the scales match the spine work on #6
