    Default G 10 scales

    I'm going to a meet sun.. I have g10 blanks .. What hand tools could I bring to cut them scales out of the g10 with?. I was thinking a Dremel tool with a cutting bit just to cut the shape and ill work on the finish work at home..

    Dremel will do, if you do not have one you can use a saw with a blade for cutting metal.
    For shaping a nice half round file will do nicely, followed by sand paper.

    I would recommend the diamond files for the g10, they clog a bit quicker, but don't wear out as quick. Sand up to 1500 or 2k, then buff w/ diamond or chromeox compound.
    Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.
