Restoration Scales #1 & #2
I finally got around to completing some scales
First is a Sword and crown that had more poc marks than my face when I was 16, but still shaves well.
Second is a Frederick Reynolds beautifully reground by Joe Chandler.
Both are using Tasmanian Myrtle with a tung oil finish and black plastic liners.
Big thanks to garythepenman for adviceLast edited by drsch3; 01-29-2007 at 03:38 AM. Reason: I can'r spell

Is that a twin pin I can see on the end of one of them?

Thanks,
The two pins just sit in there flush with the wood, there are no washers on them. With the spacer glued in there the back end ain't gonna move so I put them in to look perdy.
Still waiting to see your scales too . Did you get those washers?
