Default 6/8 Genco Striper and a Tripoli Boarhide strop to benefit Movember!

Here we have an all-American pair!
No matter if you are a beginner with little or a veteran with a lot, you ain't got THIS!

The scales and box are from an older Geneva Cutlery razor which have been complemented with a later Genco blade, 6/8 and in fine nick.

A few light scratches and stains, the thing is in exceptional shape for it's age. The tang, spine, and nose have been blued to go with the black and white thing!
Cleaned-up nicely, honed and stropped, it has been shaved and disinfected.

Don't look at the scales too long.....The eyes play tricks!

The strop has a NOS boarhide panel from Tripoli Barber supply which has been slowly conditioned with light water and mink oil applications. Very time-consuming.
The draw is fairly light and extremely even on these. Easy stropping and very effective.

The fabric is made of NOS polyester firehose. A nice tab stiched on the bottom.
Both strops have a brass eyelet where the screw goes through on the new hardware.
Also a welded stainless ring to hang with.

A far-out and funky Razorfeld strop sock will keep the strop clean and protect it, not to mention up your game on the decor thing!

Soooo, this unusual and usable pair should start at a very reasonable 200 Dollars U.S. and I will send in a long priority box within Conus for free.

IF you are across the pond or border, YOU get to pay for shipping costs for this priority box to come to you. That will be determined at auction's end which I reckon Gugi will announce at the end of the month.

Bid HIGH! Bid OFTEN! It's for a great cause!

Glad you like your's Dave! They are good old-school strops. Different than anything else.
Closest to Bridle, if I had to describe. Tripoli went under in 1955, so naturally something as tough as boar-hide still survives remarkably.

Any shaving paraphenalia you fellows are not using is also fair game here.
Put it up in the Movember auctions, let your brothers have a go with it, and give to a good cause.

    Hones, DE's soaps, AS, anything!

Let's get some things involved in this effort?

Seems some vendors could spare some stuff?
