    Got everyone's stuff off finally!
    My widdle rant....
So I spent a few hours yesterday and made some boxes, wrapped and addressed them....Went to the PO to get some customs forms. All kinds of forms out...NO customs forms!

Went BACK this morning, stood in line for 20 min. Got some customs forms.

Back to the shop...Filled out the forms.

Took the whole shitteree BACK to the PO. 25 mins in the line.
They tell me they don't have room to put the forms and stickers on the boxes.
"Why you no have the small forms for snail mail" sez I.
"OH we only have the big ones now. You gotta spend 3.95 apiece for envelopes to stick the boxes in" sez they!

BACk to the shop....Address envelopes I had and stuffed the boxes in. BACK to the PO....

Line was 15 this time...Things were going alright til an envelope to AU had it's turn.
"OH we can only send priority to this country sez they. I say 'WOT?"
"Yes....62.50!" I had "YGBFKM" almost out of my mouth.

Figured causing a scene in the PO with a pistol in my pocket was a no-go.
    Paid-up.

I swear, might be best to just donate to Movember instead of the damn PO next year!

    Rant over!

I have mine all boxed up and ready to hit the post office as well.
Might need to wait till tomorrow though as a nasty storm has rolled in..
Freezing and side blowing snow goodness abounds.
Wonder what the AU hits gonna be for me. Relatively small box, but bigger than you’d think as I didn’t want to coil the leather too tightly.

I have a stack of the those forms at the house now. It is a PITA. And I too have been told the box is too small for the label. Its like they just dont want the money or job. If there was a better way to ship Id be happy to learn it.

It’s why Amazon ships air. Standard box shapes are cheaper if you control the entire process stream.
Wasted space is negated by speed of delivery and packing unpacking of goods. But for us, size matters.
    Hehe.

I once shipped an archery bow in an airline approved case. If I used just the case I could not insure it. But if I put it in a cardboard box I could.....

They still dinged the case but not the bow!

I guess the U.S. gov is still giving the Chinese the 'Developing country' status.
They can ship for free here and then our AU allies and ourselves are charged mightily.

Don't sit well...Mike's fee for shipping the strop will tell at least some of the tale.

BTW, did not intend to bash anyone other than our PO.
We had a nice Mo this time. In spite of it all!

I Pray you fellas will ultimately receive!

I recieved the package today. Thanks Jerry for the well done packaging.

I had to check the mailbox as soon as I got home. At what temperature does Polish shaving creme freeze?

    Was 7'f here.

A quick test tonight and I give everything great reviews.

A couple of weepers on the corners of my chin with the blade so that is sharp.

I think I need to use a little more water next time with the creme. That may be me cause I generally don't like the greasyness of cremes.

The shipping fees to AU can be ridiculous and inconsistent and a bloody PITA. I'm kinda used to the stupid charges we get slugged with
