    Default Diving Knife

I sharpened my diving knife last night, this was a bit tricky to hone due to the blade having a pretty good S curve on it. It was pretty dull when I got it, one of my cousins in the CZ republic bought it for me during my visit there last September, it also had some knicks in the edge. It's sticky sharp now though along the entire length of the blade. I had to sharpen it on the corners of my hone, since I don't have any thin hones, I held it at an angle to the side of the hone to get it, was a bit tricky but worked fine once I got the hang of it. Pictures attached

And yah, I did it on my shapton 1k with two final light swipes on the 4k. The DMTs just wouldn't work the way I did it, when I was honing it on them I could see a noticable change in the angle of the bevel from the heel area to the mid section area.

    Thanks

I think I'll spare myself the shave test on this one.
