    Default Ok, have a go at guessing this one....

    This one is on top of a box/hone/strop and I've been meaning to post pictures for a whule. It's hard to lap and it's a fast finishing hone.

    I suspect it's the chnarley forest, but it's kind of dark, I haven't been following your discussions on these though. There's a vintage thuringian next to it for color reference.

    Watter and slurry pictures too with some close ups.

    It kinda sorta reminds me of the Charnley in my collection. I think they're beautiful stones.
