    I have done a bit of thinking on Double/Micro bevels and have come up with exactly One (1) use that they could be used for in my mind...

    Re-freshing the razor, this is the only time I can think of that a micro-bevel would be advantageous, it would create a slightly steeper/stronger angle and require much less work/laps to achieve, it would also create a bevel that was entirely done on the finisher.. It would also assure that the person doing the refreshing was getting to the very edge of the razor..
    When the Micro-bevel is no loner achievable it would be time to rehone the razor again, this would possibly extend the time between full honing and give the best shaves for the longest time...

    Personally I don't think the fact that DE and Disposable blades are created this way is a good reason to follow them
    They start with much thinner and harder steel then we use *in general*
